With this tasty, sustainable, and affordable pear vodka you never have to justify your drink choice again. In collaboration with William Pouw, the organic farmer in Schalkwijk near Utrecht, and students from Utrecht University, the team gives surplus organic pear juice a new purpose by distilling it into vodka. The result is a 40% ABV organic pear vodka in a 0.7L bottle. The project tackles food waste by turning unsold organic pears into a premium spirit, closing the loop on fruit that would otherwise go to waste.
