On our fruit garden in Dronten, out on the young Flevoland soil, we grow organic fruit and have done so for years. Apples are our pride, and not only the picture-perfect ones: we also rescue high-quality fruit from residual streams — good apples that would otherwise be thrown away simply for not looking the part.
